Dad Collects Leftover Crayons From Restaurants, What He Does With Themů WOW.
One of the best parts about going to a restaurant as a kid - besides the chicken fingers - was getting crayons and a placemat to color on while the adults talked about boring stuff. In 2011, Bryan Ware was out to dinner and noticed his children coloring - but it brought a question to his mind.
“I wondered, ‘What happens to these crayons after we leave if we don’t take them with us?'" Ware said in an interview. He asked, and found that every crayon gets thrown away after one use.
Surely, he thought, there must be something better and less wasteful to do with them. That's when he came up with this most excellent idea.
